- Director of Sales
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years as similar position with background in trade sales
• Preferably a degree with emphasis in marketing, sales, public relations and communications, business administration
• Revenue and or event sales experience would be a plus
• Result oriented and ability to solicit business to capitalize sales/revenue opportunities
• Strong administrative, leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to develop effective motivational strategies
• Resilient and assertive with coaching and counseling skills
• Marked pro-activeness and patience
• Diplomacy, able to build close and respected relationships with the management team, team player
• Computer literate
• Good health, mature, pleasant personality and neat appearance
• Financial acumen and competitor analysis
• Capable of making decisions within the parameters of the marketing plan that will positively affect the profitability of the company
• Familiar with sales reports, contract rates, target and market segments
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Wide network of contacts within the hospitality industry
• Active person with outgoing personality, positive attitude, independent and team player at the same time
